Improve your paintings as you discover the key to painting mountains, clouds and trees. We’ll apply lessons in color and value to create depth and atmosphere in a beautiful, impressionist landscape. Learn to see and simplify your scene and create various elements of the landscape with a variety of knife strokes. Use a combination of palette knife and brush work to achieve textural paintings with rich, luminous color. If you find your work has become too tight, the palette knife is a great way to loosen up. Even if you have never painted a landscape before, the techniques you learn will help you achieve successful results every time.
