Improve your landscape painting and join me for this 3-hour workshop as I demonstrate the key to mastering water reflections in either oil or acrylic.

The workshop begins with a brief I-Pad step-by-step presentation showing a progression of some of my water reflection paintings from start to finish.

You will need to bring to class one small to medium stretched canvas or canvas panel to paint on, such as a 9" x 12", 11" x 14" or 12" x 16" size. I will provide you with a photo reference of a subject mater reflected in water that we will work on together. We will start by drawing the image in charcoal, then add an initial red wash over the drawing. We will then begin blocking in a first layer of color by progressing from dark to light, building final layers of color toward

completion. Our goal in this 3-hour class is not to leave with a finished painting, but rather complete a valuable exercise giving you the tools you'll need to create convincing water reflections in your landscape paintings.

I will work alongside you, demonstrating refection techniques combined into a step-by-step process. Mastering Water Reflections will help you gain the knowledge and confidence you'll need to set your work apart!
