Improve your landscape painting and join Michael for this 6-hour workshop as he demonstrates the key to capturing the "Golden Hour" of light and achieving a luminous glow in your landscapes.

Michael will provide you with a toned canvas to work on that he will bring to class. He will also provide you with the photo reference of the image you will be working on and will paint together with you on that same image. You will begin by drawing the image in charcoal, then

apply spray fixative to your drawing when finished. Starting with the shadow colors, you will begin to block in a first layer of color. Then progressing from dark to light, you will build final layers of color to the successful completion of your painting.

Michael will paint alongside you, demonstrating all his working methods into a step-by-step process. Learning to capture the golden hour in oil or acrylic will help you achieve a glow to your landscapes that will set your work apart!
