Use structural lines to start a drawing, look for shapes with good proportions. Also use overlapping lines to refine the edges of interior and exterior forms as well as bone and muscle landmarks.

Learn to observe and analyze the relationships between the forms of the figure/head, understand how the light affects values of forms, start the rendering by capturing shadow shapes first, and build a 3-D drawing with accuracy.
