Ever want to try abstract painting? Then this is the workshop for you! You’ll paint with large brushes and loads of luscious, juicy paint using intuition, fearlessness and spontaneity to create fresh, colorful abstract paintings. David will help you loosen up while providing design fundamentals that make it easy to develop abstract compositions. Many demos, lots of hands-on painting time and individual attention. We’ll have lots of fun, but no fear is allowed!

This workshop is Acrylic for All Levels (However, some painting experience is helpful)

Supply List for Students:

Paint: Your usual acrylic paint. (Professional quality paints are best and provide the most color pigment.) Use what your budget will allow.

Bring your typical color selection of paints-the following are suggestions only:

2. (4) small painting surfaces which could be matboard, wood panels, canvas cloth, canvas panels, watercolor paper, etc. (If using surfaces other than canvas, make sure they are coated with gesso). Minimum size would be 6x8 and maximum would be 12x12.
